The American Air Museum records 42-110033 'Arizona Rambler' as a B-24H from the 330th Bomb Squadron, 93rd Bomb Group ('The Travelling Circus'). The aircraft collided with 41-28590 during assembly over Henham Park. Only three of the 20 airmen survived the initial crash, and a subsequent explosion during rescue operations killed 19 additional personnel from rescue, medical, and fire-fighting units at nearby Holton Airfield.
