The American Air Museum records B-24H Liberator 41-28843 'Repulser' from the 715th Bomb Squadron. The aircraft was shot down on 22 April 1944 after a successful bombing mission over Germany. ME 410 German fighters followed the formation back to the UK and attacked the Repulser before it could land at Seething. It crashed in fields south of Kessingland, killing all 10 crew.
