Registry entry for the Lancaster R5676 memorial at Lancaster Farm, Sturton by Stow. The memorial was commissioned by farm owner Jacqueline Gorman and designed by her son John Gorman.

Memorial located on the wall at the entrance to Lancaster Farm on Tillbridge Road. Privately commissioned memorial on the crash site.

RAF Commands archive record for Flying Officer Sydney Rhys Jones and the crew of Lancaster R5676 from 1660 HCU. The Lancaster broke up in flight at 1005 hours on 12 February 1943, with the starboard wing failing first.

Aircraft suffered structural failure — starboard wing broke away in flight. Crashed at Oldfield's Farm, 8 miles NW of Lincoln. Crew of eight included Fg Off Jones (age 25), Sgt Raeside (age 26), Fg Off Hoy (age 31), Sgt Westwood (age 22), Sgt Jackson (age 23), Fg Off Krish (age 26), F/Sgt Kennedy (age 20), and Sgt Redfern (age 23).
