War Memorials Online registers the Laughterton Trentside Memorial which commemorates Lancaster LM292 (coded PM-K) of 103 Squadron on the reverse side of the same cairn as the Stirling EH940 memorial. LM292 departed Elsham Wolds at 21:18 for operations over Fontenay on 8 August 1944. On the homeward leg, an engine caught fire and the aircraft became uncontrollable.

The pilot Flg Off George Chahoon Brown (aged 20) and flight engineer Sgt John Corless (aged 24) remained aboard to try to control the stricken aircraft while five crew baled out safely.
