+ To the Glory of God and in honoured memory of [crew names listed on memorial] Who lost their lives when Avro Lancaster (ND820) 635 Squadron crashed here while on a flight from RAF Downham Market Monday 10th April 1944 Who now lie at rest in the surrounding fields. Their names are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial to the Missing. Also in memory of crew member [crew names listed on memorial] Buried in Stonefall Cemetery, Harrogate. This memorial was commissioned by the Lincolnshire Aircraft Recovery Group.
