What Happened
In the early hours of Monday 20 April 1942, Vickers Wellington T2834 crashed near North Rauceby in Lincolnshire. Pilot Officer Henry Eric 'Harry' Rath of the Royal Canadian Air Force and Sergeant Karl Morris Miegel of the Royal Australian Air Force were both killed.
