What Happened

On 23 May 1944, Stirling BK784 of 90 Squadron, based at RAF Tuddenham, came down at Chippenham, Cambridgeshire. All seven crew members aboard were killed, including the pilot, Flight Sergeant J. Whyte, alongside R. Eggbeer, P. Mccrory, B. Sharpen, and W.
