(child's Name), Aged 4 Years of Yelden. Killed by an Aircraft Which Crashed Near This Church 24th March 1944. In memory o the men who died on the night of 24th March 1944 when Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress serial number 42-97578 of 422nd Squadron 305th Bomb Group crashed just north of Yelden Church.
